We travel frequently and while we really enjoy getting away, we were always worried about leaving our fur baby behind. However, since Marla started house sitting for us, that has changed. We feel so comfortable going away knowing Marla is taking care of our Bella Girl. My husband I joke that Bella looks forward to our vacations because that means even more walks and attention with Marla! Marla also sends daily pictures of Bella and updates on how they are both doing. Bella is a sweet girl, but she is a large dog at over 100 pounds. Marla has no issues dealing with her size at all. On top of taking the best care of your pup, Marla also leaves the house immaculate, which is such an added delight! I would 100% recommend Marla to take care of your pets. We love our animals and so we were nervous about leaving them for an eight-day trip to Maui. When Marla met our two sweet dogs, our neurotic cat, our mellow guinea pig, and our two little parakeets, we breathed a sigh of collective relief. Marla’s sincere care for our animals was obvious. I have an 11 year old Greyhound that has separation anxiety and is fearful. From the moment Marla came over, he loved her. She has such a calm spirit that he picks up on, and is at ease with her. Marla is the only one I trust with my kitties! When I travel and have to leave my 2 elderly cats alone, Marla is punctual, reliable and nurturing. She knows how to give one of my cats his medication morning and night. I can tell that this isn’t just a job to her. She truly loves my cats and gives them plenty of attention and affection. Marla is fantastic! We had to hire someone to walk our super-energetic (aka spastic) Australian Shepard when my girlfriend broke both of her ankles in a freak accident in the Tahoe backcountry. Fortunately, the fates intervened and we found Marla. Marla ended up walking our dog Zeke on a regular basis for over 6 months. Not once during that time was Marla late. Marla is super-reliable, super-conscientious, and simply awesome. Zeke bonded with Marla and adores her. Fortunately, my girlfriend has recovered now and we are back to normal (as normal as one can be in a pandemic.) Marla has taken care of my two cats on several occasions, for more than a week at times. One of my cats has prescription food requirements, and Marla has always done a great job in following detailed instructions regarding feeding times, amounts, etc., and in fact has gone the extra mile to ensure that my cats are well cared for. Marla is absolutely amazing and genuinely loves dogs. My boyfriend and I first met Marla about 2 years ago and have never looked back. She is kind, trustworthy, and compassionate. She watches our bernedoodle puppy, Mocha frequently and I am convinced Mocha loves her more than us lol. She has watched Mocha for just a walk, overnight, and for over a week when we went to Costa Rica. We adore Marla and trust her with our lives. We had Marla care for Zoey our Springer Spaniel while we were out of state a week. Zoey is not an easy dog to care for but Marla did a wonderful job. We always worry throughout our time away when we have a new pet sitter, but Marla quickly put our worries to rest. We received many pictures and messages showing their adventures.
